Beijing-headquartered investment bank China Securities has established a regional presence in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), according to announcements from the Centre and local authorities on 28 September 2026. The publicly listed securities firm has received an operating licence from the DIFC Authority and regulatory authorisation from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

The new office is designed to serve as a regional base supporting the group's engagement with clients, investors, and financial institutions across the Middle East. It also aims to facilitate two-way connectivity between Chinese, UAE, and broader international capital markets.

China Securities operates across equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, asset management, and institutional services. The firm's management engaged in sustained consultations with DIFC leadership prior to the move to evaluate market opportunities across Dubai and the surrounding region.

The establishment adds China Securities to DIFC's growing cluster of Chinese financial institutions, which already includes Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank, China International Capital Corporation, China Merchants Bank International, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. According to DIFC data, China's five largest banks collectively represent more than 30 percent of total assets in DIFC's banking and capital markets sector.
