China Securities Opens Dubai Office in DIFC to Connect Regional Investors

Beijing-headquartered China Securities has established a regional office in the Dubai International Financial Centre. The firm received an operating licence from the DIFC Authority and authorisation from the Dubai Financial Services Authority. It will cover equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, asset management, and institutional services.

Beijing-headquartered investment bank China Securities has established a regional office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to serve clients and investors across the Middle East, Gulf News reported.

The publicly listed securities firm secured an operating licence from the DIFC Authority and received authorisation from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

The new Dubai office will support activities spanning equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, asset management, and institutional services.

China Securities joins other major Chinese investment banks operating in DIFC. According to the report, China's five largest banks currently represent more than 30% of total assets within DIFC's Banking and Capital Markets sector.
