DIFC-based technology company Black Cloud Solutions has launched ThakAI, a regulatory intelligence platform developed to help companies comply with UAE legal requirements.

The platform consolidates compliance tracking across UAE corporate taxation, labor regulations, commercial licensing, data protection, and sector-specific legislation. It connects government-sourced legislation and regulatory amendments into a knowledge graph to assist enterprises in meeting documentation obligations.

According to the report, the launch coincides with increased enforcement activity. Official data showed that 8,900 inspections were carried out across designated non-financial businesses and professions in 2025, resulting in administrative penalties totaling AED 160.33 million for regulatory non-compliance.

The UAE has ranked first globally among emerging destinations for family offices with an overall score of 74 points, according to Global Citizen Solutions. The country earned perfect scores of 100 in regulation and taxation, with 78 points in financial ecosystem. DIFC housed 1,408 family-related entities by the end of June 2026, marking a 36 percent year-on-year increase.
