The UAE Ministry of Interior has warned the public and investors against fraudulent investment and trading schemes that promise high returns. Authorities advised individuals to verify platform licensing before transferring funds or cryptocurrency. The ministry emphasized that legitimate investment entities do not guarantee profits or pressure users into urgent payments.
The UAE has launched Altair-1, its first domestically manufactured commercial satellite, aboard a SpaceX rideshare mission from California. Assembled at Orbitworks' KEZAD facility in Abu Dhabi, the satellite is the first of a planned 10-satellite AI-enabled Earth observation constellation. Japan has introduced additional sanctions targeting Russia's shadow fleet of oil-transporting vessels, according to the Foreign Ministry. Restrictions also apply to 33 Russian-linked entities, nine individuals, and 102 export items.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has issued Decree No. (27) of 2026 appointing Malek Sultan Al Malek as Chairman of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority. The decree takes effect from its date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
