Assetize, a tokenisation group with its technology arm based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), has had its entity Assetize Financial Services (Jersey) Limited registered by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC). The registration was granted under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 to conduct trust company business, making it the first Jersey trust company established specifically to administer tokenisation structures.
Under this registration, Assetize Financial Services (Jersey) Limited can administer Jersey-domiciled issuance structures for UAE-regulated virtual asset service providers and other digital asset entities. Operational technology is delivered by Assetize's DIFC-based technology arm, Assetize Technologies Middle East Delta Limited. The arrangement enables firms to issue tokenised equities, real estate, real-world assets, managed strategies, and fund interests.
According to data from RWA.xyz published by Jersey Finance, Jersey accounted for 27.4% of the global tokenised equities market by value as of September 2026. Major digital asset operators in the UAE rely on Jersey-based structures, including OKX distributing xStocks issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited, Kraken following its VARA licensing in October 2026, and Robinhood issuing Stock Tokens via Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited following DFSA authorisation.
Assetize reported having over USD 300 million of assets issued and serviced on its platform as of October 2026. Rory Forrest, General Counsel of Assetize, stated that Jersey requires every issuer of tokenised real-world assets to obtain JFSC consent and be administered by a regulated trust company.
