Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) has announced the agenda and initial speaker roster for Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) 2026. The upcoming edition will be held under the theme 'The Capital Community, Powered by Partnerships'.

ADGM stated that the event has expanded its international program to 75 sessions distributed across eight stages to foster connections across major global markets. The schedule incorporates dedicated international forums and bilateral dialogues specifically focusing on China, alongside sessions focused on South Korea, the European Union, and the United States.

According to ADFW, these specialized bilateral dialogues are designed to facilitate cross-border capital flows and strengthen institutional investment partnerships between UAE and Chinese entities.

Participating institutions and event partners announced include the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, UBS, Standard Chartered, and Hanwha Finance.

Asian markets are scheduled to import 23.96 million barrels of crude oil per day in September 2026, driven by Arabian Gulf supplies. China's foreign crude purchases reached 8.93 million barrels per day in August, a 6.2 percent increase month-on-month. Despite recovering maritime flows, total Asian crude imports remain 13 percent below pre-crisis baseline levels.
