Dubai CommerCity, a dedicated digital commerce free zone and joint venture between the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and Wasl Group, announced an AED 1.8 billion expansion project on 4 October 2026.

The development represents Phase Two of the free zone and will be rolled out between the first quarter of 2027 and the fourth quarter of 2028. The expansion comes in response to corporate demand, with occupancy across office, logistics, and retail spaces currently reaching nearly 96 percent.

The project will add 86,000 square metres of space across the Business and Social Clusters, including six new commercial office buildings.

DIEZ Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum stated that the expansion strengthens the regulatory and operational ecosystem supporting digital commerce under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
