More than 300 companies, government authorities, and organisations from around the world are set to convene in Dubai for the inaugural Dubai International Electric Vehicle Exhibition and Conference 2026 (EV World 2026), according to Gulf News and official announcements. The event will take place from November 10 to 12, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the event is being organised by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) under the theme “Driving a Smart and Sustainable Mobility Future.” It is anticipated to draw more than 10,000 industry specialists and visitors, alongside 70 speakers and over 30 business partners.

The showcase will highlight a broad spectrum of sustainable transportation technologies, including electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles, advanced batteries, fast-charging infrastructure, hydrogen fuel cells, autonomous transit systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, and artificial intelligence solutions designed to enhance future mobility.

Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, stated that the global transport sector is undergoing an accelerated transition towards electric and new-energy vehicles, propelled by technological leaps in battery systems, clean power, and autonomous mobility. Al Tayer noted that this shift creates substantial economic and investment potential for cities that integrate modern infrastructure, regulatory adaptability, and public-private collaboration.

As part of international collaboration efforts for the event, RTA leadership has engaged with industry bodies, including discussions with Dr Zhang Yongwei, Chairman of China EV100, exploring expanded partnerships across new energy vehicles and intelligent mobility ecosystems.
