Senior executives from leading Chinese enterprises have underscored Dubai's growing role as a strategic international hub for the regional and global expansion of the Chinese business community, Gulf News reported. They noted that the emirate serves as a gateway for deploying advanced Chinese innovations into international markets and fostering cross-sector commercial partnerships.
The business leaders are scheduled to participate as speakers at the Dubai Business Forum – China, organised by Dubai Chambers in Shenzhen on 14 October under the theme “Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success”. The forum is structured to enable Chinese firms at varying growth stages to exchange perspectives and pursue cross-border expansion across technology, investment, and trade.
The confirmed speaker line-up includes representatives from Chinese companies active in Dubai, such as BYD, Baidu, Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud, iMile Delivery, YTO International, Yalla Group, ARIDGE (formerly XPENG AEROHT), CICC, and China Merchants Capital.
Alan Qi, President of Huawei Cloud Middle East and Central Asia Region, stated that the company acts as a bridge linking Chinese and UAE enterprise ecosystems while deploying AI to support industrial upgrades in the UAE. Rachel Xie, General Manager of Tencent Cloud MENA, identified Dubai as a central hub for cloud computing operations and noted plans to explore accelerated AI adoption and commercial deployment during forum discussions.
