Abu Dhabi Customs and QCC Sign Data Exchange and Quality Agreement

On September 23, 2026, Abu Dhabi Customs and the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening trade facilitation and data exchange, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The agreement was signed by Obaid Musallem Al Ameri, Acting Director-General of Abu Dhabi Customs, and Abdulla Ahmed Al Yazeedi, Acting Secretary-General of QCC.

Under the terms of the MoU, both entities will share foreign trade data and inspection information through designated digital platforms. The initiative is designed to accelerate customs clearance processes, ensure regulatory product compliance, and improve product safety across entry ports in Abu Dhabi.

Additionally, the partnership establishes a framework for joint research, advisory initiatives, and technical training to support commercial businesses operating through the emirate.
