Major Chinese energy corporations presented commercial exhibitions of low-carbon technology, artificial intelligence, and oilfield equipment at the ADIPEC 2026 conference in Abu Dhabi, Xinhua reported.
Chinese state conglomerates CNPC, CNOOC, and Sinopec, alongside specialized oilfield manufacturer Jereh, displayed projects covering carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), deepwater drilling operations, and smart oilfield systems.
According to conference figures, ADIPEC 2026 convened roughly 2,260 participating companies from more than 170 countries and regions, demonstrating expanding Asian and Chinese involvement in Gulf energy technology and transitional fuels.
Opening the conference, UAE Minister and ADNOC Managing Director Sultan Al Jaber stated that logistical costs have increased substantially as a result of maritime disruptions, calling for closer integration across global energy supply chains.
