Xpeng Launches GX and G9L SUVs in Dubai for Middle East Market

Chinese EV maker Xpeng introduced its GX and G9L flagship SUVs in Dubai, marking the GX's overseas debut. Both extended-range models launched across 11 countries in the Middle East and Africa, with UAE pricing starting at AED 259,000.

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng unveiled its GX and G9L flagship SUVs in Dubai on November 2, 2026, marking the GX's official overseas debut, according to CnEVPost. Customer pre-orders opened immediately as both extended-range models went on sale across 11 countries in the Middle East and Africa.

In the UAE, the GX Flagship Edition is priced at AED 299,000 ($81,410), while the G9L carries a starting pre-sale price of AED 259,000.

Xpeng stated that the GX model has already secured more than 4,000 orders across the region, which includes 800 pre-orders in the UAE.

Looking ahead, the automaker aims to expand its operations across the Middle East and Africa to more than 20 markets, targeting over 100 sales and service locations by 2027.

Jereh Secures Three ADNOC Onshore Contracts Totaling $2.7 Billion

Chinese energy equipment and engineering corporation Jereh Group announced that its subsidiary, Jereh Oil & Gas Engineering, received three EPC project award letters from ADNOC Onshore. The contracts carry an aggregate value of approximately $2.697 billion across multiple oil and gas fields in Abu Dhabi. The largest package, valued at $1.704 billion, covers surface engineering and maintenance at the Ruwais Diyab unconventional gas field.
