Emirates SkyCargo has launched AI Tech, a specialized product tailored to transport critical and sensitive artificial intelligence hardware infrastructure safely and on schedule. The service covers AI server racks, semiconductors, graphics processing units (GPUs), capital equipment, and related hardware.
According to the carrier, large-scale deployments of computing and processing systems increasingly face compressed timelines, high cargo valuations, and specialized handling requirements. AI Tech provides globally standardized operating procedures designed to maintain equipment orientation and minimize the risk of damage during transit.
The service incorporates priority loading and scheduling for time-critical shipments, alongside airport-to-airport visibility with milestone tracking coordinated through Emirates SkyCargo's command centre in Dubai.
Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President at Emirates SkyCargo, stated that the airline transported more than 700 tonnes of AI infrastructure across its global network in July alone, noting continued demand growth across the AI ecosystem.
