Etihad Rail recorded 120,000 ticket sales during the first 30 days of passenger services across the United Arab Emirates, according to Gulf Business.

The milestone covers the operational period from September 30 to October 30, 2026, marking the network's first full month of service following its official launch. The passenger rail network currently connects four key destinations: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Dhaid in Sharjah, and Fujairah.

The official launch on September 30 integrated Dubai Al Yalayis Station and Al Dhaid Station with earlier passenger routes operating between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.

Adhraa Almansoori, Executive Director of Commercial and Support at Etihad Rail Mobility, stated that the company's objective is to make passenger rail a regular choice for intercity travel, adding that strong first-month demand reflects passenger trust in the newly launched transport network.
