Ras Al Khaimah signed a formal friendship agreement with China's Fujian Province, concluding a six-day delegation visit led by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. Signed in Fuzhou, the agreement sets a framework for collaboration across green supply chains, port logistics, sustainable construction materials, and cultural exchange.
Alongside the provincial agreement, Ras Al Khaimah public and private entities entered into 10 Memoranda of Understanding with Chinese partners. These pacts include an agreement between RAK's International Relations Office and UBTECH Robotics to deploy humanoid systems in commercial, tourism, and healthcare settings, as well as transport and infrastructure accords involving Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center and China Road and Bridge Corporation. Financial and business ties were also established through agreements involving RAKBANK, Marjan Group, Bank of China (Dubai Branch), RAK Chamber, and RAKEZ.
Concurrently, the UAE-China Chamber of Commerce reported that Chinese technology and utility firms signed commercial deals in the UAE. Electric flying vehicle manufacturer Aridge delivered an X3-F aircraft to the UAE for civil aviation sandbox testing, while DEWA International signed a cooperation agreement with China Energy International Group to assess water and energy projects.
The agreements followed engagements across Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Fuzhou from October 18 to 23, 2026, which included the RAK-China Business Conference and the establishment of Ras Al Khaimah’s first business consultancy office in Guangzhou.
