The Dubai AI Festival 2026 opened in Dubai on Monday, October 26, featuring participation from more than 100 Chinese companies, according to the Dubai World Trade Centre. The two-day event convenes technology firms, investors, policymakers, and industry specialists to examine advancements in artificial intelligence and explore practical applications across business operations, industry, and public services.
Arif Amiri, chief executive officer of the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority, told Xinhua that the significant turnout of Chinese exhibitors reflects the vital role Chinese firms play in developing AI technologies and digital innovation. Amiri noted that their presence creates opportunities to exchange technical expertise, evaluate new cooperative and investment avenues, and strengthen commercial ties between Chinese and UAE entities.
Representatives of Chinese exhibitors stated that the event serves as an effective venue to showcase technological solutions, engage regional investors and institutions, and explore strategic partnerships to broaden their market footprint in the Middle East. Dubai has consistently pursued initiatives to establish itself as a global technology and innovation hub by attracting specialized talent, capital investment, and advanced technology enterprises.
