The Hong Kong International Communications Electronic Chamber (HKICEC) made its inaugural launch of the HKICEC Global Mobile Exchange Pavilion at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics Show, held from October 18 to 21, 2026. According to a release published via The Manila Times, the 600-square-meter pavilion represents the first B2B pavilion in Hong Kong and Asia dedicated exclusively to mobile communications equipment.

The pavilion convened nearly 60 industry leaders representing mainland China, Hong Kong, the UAE, India, Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. HKICEC stated that the initiative is designed to bridge global markets and support the communications and electronics sector, enhancing synergy between Hong Kong's technology ecosystem and cross-border trade.

During the four-day event, HKICEC hosted a specialized device lifecycle forum attended by more than 200 international representatives. Speakers and experts from organizations including ecoATM, PCS Wireless, Cenwood, Our Hong Kong Foundation, and the Global Mobile Association addressed topics such as global inventory management, ESG integration, circular ecology for new and pre-owned devices, and artificial intelligence technology.

To conclude the gathering, the chamber hosted a networking banquet for more than 500 industry executives, exhibitors, and guests to facilitate international commercial alliances, followed by a networking cruise on Victoria Harbour.
