His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, led an Emirati delegation on a six-day official visit to Guangdong and Fujian provinces in China. During a visit to UBTECH Robotics, Sheikh Saud witnessed the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding to advance joint research and deploy humanoid robotic systems in Ras Al Khaimah.

The Ruler also toured ARIDGE's smart manufacturing facility in Guangzhou following an agreement to develop air mobility solutions in the emirate. At the Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center, an additional memorandum of understanding was signed to advance smart transportation and the low-altitude economy. Sheikh Saud emphasized that the deepening partnership focuses on long-term cooperation, technology transfer, and shared prosperity.

The engagements come amid growing China-UAE corporate integration. Official figures cited by China Daily indicate that bilateral trade between the two nations reached $108 billion in 2025, with Chinese foreign direct investment into the UAE standing at $2.6 billion and over 6,650 active Chinese companies registered with Dubai Chambers as of late September.
