The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organised the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2026) from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event was held under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.

WETEX 2026 hosted 13 dedicated international pavilions from around the world, featuring countries including China, Germany, Italy, Belgium, India, Türkiye, the Czech Republic, and South Korea. The exhibition drew 3,000 exhibiting companies representing 60 countries, alongside 60 sponsors and 23 partners and supporting associations. Country pavilions and exhibitor stands occupied Sheikh Rashid Hall, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2, and 3, Sheikh Maktoum Hall, Arena Halls 1 and 2, and Halls 1 to 8 across the venue.
