Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, led a high-level UAE delegation to Guangzhou on October 20 to strengthen China-UAE cooperation in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). The visit formed part of a broader trip to China scheduled from October 20 to 23.

During the visit, the delegation inspected ARIDGE's flying car assembly lines and mass-production facility. UAE officials jointly unveiled and formally took delivery of the first X3-F "Land Aircraft Carrier" aircraft slated for testing inside the UAE's AAM regulatory sandbox.

According to ARIDGE Founder Zhao Deli, the project marks the third year of collaboration with Ras Al Khaimah. The company intends to carry out experimental flight demonstrations and complete certification within the sandbox before launching local commercial sales.

Initial commercial applications are targeted at emergency rescue and aerial tourism, with longer-term plans aiming to provide inter-city aerial transport connecting Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Saud's itinerary also includes attending the China-Ras Al Khaimah Business Summit and signing a cooperation agreement with Fujian Province.
