UAE government representatives alongside maritime executives from AD Ports Group have concluded trade missions focused on automated logistics and smart technology facilities across China, PMV Middle East reported.
During the initiative, UAE Minister Omar Sultan Al Olama highlighted the country's intent to forge partnerships with Chinese manufacturers in the sectors of energy storage and mobility solutions.
Bilaterally, first-half 2026 non-oil trade between China and the UAE reached $49.2 billion (AED 180.7 billion), following a full-year 2025 non-oil trade total of $111.5 billion.
According to the report, Chinese manufacturers accounted for 67 percent of all electric vehicle unit sales in the UAE during early 2025. These commercial collaborations align with the UAE National Electric Vehicles Policy, which targets a 50 percent share of electric vehicles on domestic roads by 2050.
