The Abu Dhabi Residents Office (ADRO) has published updated eligibility criteria outlining the salary and qualification benchmarks foreign skilled professionals must meet to qualify for a 10-year UAE Golden Visa, Briefly News reported.

Under the guidelines, employed foreign professionals must draw a minimum monthly basic salary of AED 30,000 (approximately $8,170). The salary must be documented through an official employer salary certificate and validated by six months of UAE bank statements demonstrating consistent deposits.

In addition to the financial threshold, candidates must be employed in the UAE under occupational roles categorized as Level 1 (Managers and Business Executives) or Level 2 (Professionals in Sciences, Engineering, Health, Education, IT, Law, Business, and Culture) by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

Applicants are also required to hold at least a bachelor's degree attested and recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education, as well as valid professional licensing where applicable. The 10-year Golden Visa permits holders to sponsor family members and maintain their residency while remaining outside the UAE for extended periods.
