The Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) hosted a high-level business roundtable in Shenzhen on October 17, 2026, as part of the Dubai Business Forum – China organised by Dubai Chambers, according to Zawya and Emirates News Agency.
Chaired by Dr. Raja Easa Al Gurg, Founder and President of DBWC, the roundtable convened 30 senior Emirati and Chinese businesswomen. Participants included DBWC board members, Emirati delegates from Dubai, and Chinese commercial executives across diverse industrial portfolios.
The discussions centered on deepening bilateral economic cooperation, exchanging market expertise, and identifying opportunities for trade, investment, and long-term strategic partnerships. The meeting also highlighted Dubai's infrastructure, regulatory environment, and connectivity to global markets as a platform for enterprise expansion.
Dr. Al Gurg stated that engagement with Chinese counterparts represents an extension of DBWC's focus since its establishment in 2002 on building capabilities and networks. She noted that strong bilateral economic foundations between the UAE and China offer substantial scope for continued commercial collaboration.
