The second edition of the Al Shifaa Summit for Integrative Medicine will take place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, according to Gulf News. The summit is organised as an initiative of the UAE Integrative Medicine Council and will be held as part of the broader Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit 2026.

Convening under the theme “Tradition, Science and the Future of Integrative Medicine”, the three-day event will bring together researchers, practitioners, innovators, and sector experts from the UAE and globally. Discussions will focus on traditional and complementary practices, including Emirati Traditional Medicine, alongside clinical research, education, safety, quality standards, and regulation.

The programme also aims to examine how artificial intelligence and emerging digital technologies can support the development of integrative medicine and assist the council in establishing a national operational framework.

According to the report, the event agenda is structured across three core segments: an interactive exhibition, the Exchange Hub, and the Pledge Zone. The interactive exhibition will feature areas dedicated to Traditional Knowledge, Scientific Foundations, and Building the Integrative Medicine Ecosystem, while the Exchange Hub will host panels addressing quality oversight, research data, and institutional partnerships.
