Abu Dhabi has published a dedicated webpage on the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) platform to guide foreign nationals seeking long-term residency in the emirate through the UAE Green Visa, according to a report by Tuko News.
The guidance specifically targets foreign investors and business partners looking to establish or maintain a commercial presence in Abu Dhabi. It clarifies that all Green Visa applications must comply with the framework of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP).
Applicants are directed to submit their applications online via the official ICP website at icp.gov.ae. Prospective candidates must review eligibility criteria and prepare required supporting documentation for their category before applying.
The Abu Dhabi government also highlights other residency routes on its portal, including the 10-year Golden Visa for investors and specialists, as well as a Non-Work Visa designed for remote workers and retirees. Officials urge applicants to use official government portals and caution against intermediaries offering guaranteed approvals for upfront payments.
