Demand for war risk coverage has increased in the United Arab Emirates amid escalating geopolitical tensions across the Middle East, Business Insurance reported, citing Khaleej Times.

The heightened demand is particularly pronounced among enterprises that rely heavily on vehicle fleets, such as commercial logistics operators and corporate transport providers.

In response to regional risk conditions, insurer GIG Gulf is among the providers that have begun offering optional war coverage for select commercial fleet insurance policies in the region.
