CONNECT.XCITE 2026 MENA has concluded its third edition in Abu Dhabi, bringing together selected Chinese luxury travel buyers and premium tourism partners from across the Middle East and Africa for business meetings, networking, and destination discovery.

The programme opened with B2B commercial sessions held at The Abu Dhabi EDITION on 13–14 October, followed by curated cultural, natural, and luxury travel experiences on 15 October. Additional networking events were hosted across the emirate at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, and Rosewood Abu Dhabi.

According to organisers, the gathering focused on bespoke travel designers and niche buyers seeking distinctive, personalised regional travel experiences to present to Chinese clientele. The initiative aims to build buyer confidence and deepen knowledge of regional destinations.

Xing Zhang, Founder of CONNECT.XCITE, noted that the edition united Chinese buyers with regional hospitality suppliers while showcasing Abu Dhabi's unique offerings, with immediate post-event priorities centering on turning initial discussions into commercial itineraries and formal partnerships.

CONNECT.XCITE, formerly operated under the name Connect. China, is powered by UAE-headquartered Xcite LLC and operates under a continuous-engagement philosophy focused on the Chinese high-end and niche travel segment.
