67 Pall Mall to Open First Middle East Wine Club in Dubai

London-based private members' wine club 67 Pall Mall has announced it will open its first Middle East venue in Dubai's The Opus building in early 2027. The 12,000-square-foot retrofit project is scheduled to open ahead of the group's Shanghai venue, which was delayed to early 2027 following approval holdups.

London-founded private members' wine club 67 Pall Mall is set to open its first Middle East location in Dubai in early 2027, according to The Drinks Business. The club will occupy a 12,000-square-foot space on the first floor of The Opus, a Zaha Hadid-designed landmark in Business Bay, following a three-year site search by founder and chief executive Grant Ashton.

The venue will take over two former restaurant spaces, Maison Dali and Revolver, which closed earlier this year due to the war in the Middle East. Because the premises are already fitted out, the club will avoid shell-and-core construction by retrofitting the existing space. The layout includes a private ground-level entrance, two operational kitchens, a club room, private dining areas, dining and cigar terraces pending approvals, and a 20-metre curved tunnel lined with wine bottles.

The Dubai opening comes as 67 Pall Mall pushes ahead with international expansion despite project delays in other markets. The Dubai site is scheduled to open ahead of clubs planned for Shanghai and Melbourne. The Shanghai club, originally slated to open in mid-2026, experienced a six-month delay in receiving official building permits and is now expected to open shortly after Chinese New Year 2027.

Meanwhile, the club's Melbourne opening has faced a two-year planning delay with completion anticipated in late 2027, while European developments in Bordeaux and Beaune have also encountered delays. Dubai joins the group's active international portfolio that includes London, Verbier, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
