The UAE has secured the top global spot among emerging destinations for family offices with an overall score of 74 points, according to a report released by Global Citizen Solutions on October 18, 2026.

The country achieved perfect scores of 100 in both regulation and taxation categories, alongside a score of 78 points in the financial ecosystem metric. The findings pointed to the country's zero personal income tax and zero statutory rate on intergenerational wealth transfers as key factors attracting global wealth structures.

According to the report, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) housed 1,408 family-related entities by the end of June 2026, representing a 36 percent increase year-on-year.

The report attributed this growth to specialized legal frameworks, specifically citing the DIFC Family Arrangements Regulations and legal frameworks within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
