The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) convened a consultation session at Al Barsha Majlis in Dubai with business owners, taxpayers, and community members to discuss tax system updates and compliance efficiency, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
FTA Director-General Abdulaziz Al Mulla attended the session, which took place as part of the Emirates Majalis initiative titled 'Closer to Each Other'. The engagement aligns with the third cycle of the UAE's Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which focuses on eliminating administrative overhead and simplifying corporate tax procedures.
During the meeting, officials addressed direct operational challenges companies face during tax transactions. Participants also examined the expanding advisory role of licensed Emirati Tax Agents in supporting businesses with regulatory compliance.
The FTA reiterated its commitment to using direct public feedback to redesign customer workflows and increase transparency across federal corporate tax and value-added tax (VAT) platforms.
