A Saudi-Chinese consortium has been awarded an SR1.15 billion ($306 million) contract to design, supply, and install curtain-wall facades at the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia. The joint venture, IKK Fangda JV Co., is owned 51 percent by China Fangda Group's Shihui International Holdings and 49 percent by Saudi-based Isam Kabbani & Partners, a subsidiary of IKK Group.

The contract was signed with general contractor Uptown Stadium Construction JV, a partnership between Spain's FCC Construccion and Saudi Arabia's Nesma & Partners Contracting. According to a corporate disclosure, the project covers the main stadium venue, a museum, and ancillary buildings, with execution scheduled over an 863-day timeframe.

The multi-purpose arena is planned to accommodate more than 45,000 spectators against the Tuwaiq cliffs and serves as one of 15 proposed stadiums across five host cities for Saudi Arabia's 2034 FIFA World Cup bid. The project site presents technical demands, including high winds at the cliff-top location, sandstorms, and extreme temperatures.

China Fangda Group stated that the contract value accounts for 60.7 percent of its audited operating revenue in 2025. The company disclosed that revenue recognition will depend on project progress and applicable accounting policies, noting that successful delivery will establish a key benchmark portfolio in the Middle East.
