Corporate services advisory A&A Associate partnered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) to introduce the 'World's Fastest UAE Residency' program on September 25, 2026, Gulf News reported.

The initiative reduces the investor residency and commercial licensing procedure to five business days. The process begins with a remote phase lasting three business days, during which corporate registration is completed and an entry permit is secured.

The remaining two business days require an in-person presence in the United Arab Emirates to finalize biometric registration and mandatory medical examinations.

Priced at an all-inclusive fee of $4,550, the offering covers an official free zone business licence along with full immigration clearance.

UAE Cabinet Amends VAT Executive Regulations on Input Tax Apportionment

The UAE Cabinet has issued Cabinet Decision No. 149 of 2026, introducing substantial amendments to the UAE VAT Executive Regulations. The revision alters the standard input tax apportionment methodology under Article 55 for partially exempt businesses to an output-based ratio. Most general changes take effect on 1 October 2026, with the apportionment methodology taking effect from the first tax year starting after 1 October 2027.
