UAE Launches Health Sector Climate Adaptation Plan for 2026 to 2031
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention has launched the Health Sector Climate Adaptation Plan (2026–2031) to mitigate climate-related health risks. Announced at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit, the initiative focuses on shifting healthcare systems toward risk anticipation and early prevention. The strategy was developed in partnership with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and aligns with national adaptation frameworks.
