UAE Registered New-Economy Firms Rise 37 Percent to Nearly 125,000

The number of registered new-economy companies in the UAE grew by approximately 37% year-on-year to reach nearly 125,000 by mid-2026. Announced during the Investopia Bridge 2026 forum, the expansion focuses on artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, renewable energy, and logistics. Abu Dhabi will host 'Investopia Bridge 2026' on October 7 at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island under the theme 'Investing in a More Resilient World'. The forum will convene ministers, institutional investors, and business leaders to examine capital reallocation, AI infrastructure, and trade corridor policies. Attendees will include UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi.
