Chinese Contractors Expand Solar, Storage, and Infrastructure Cooperation in UAE
Chinese engineering contractors have expanded their presence across clean energy developments in the UAE, as highlighted during ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi. Projects include PowerChina's 1.5-gigawatt Al Ajban solar plant and an integrated 2.1-gigawatt PV project with 7.75 gigawatt-hours of battery storage. In addition, DEWA International and Shanghai Electric signed an MoU to explore global energy, water, and green hydrogen investments.
