Chinese Alliance Builds RMB 14 Billion Solar-Storage Project in Abu Dhabi
China Electric Power Alliance is constructing the northern section of the RTC solar and energy storage project across a 90-square-kilometer desert site in Abu Dhabi. The contract is valued at approximately RMB 13.962 billion and features 2.1 gigawatts of DC solar and 7.75 gigawatt-hours of battery storage. Jointly developed by Masdar and EWEC, the overall complex aims to provide continuous clean baseload electricity.
