Noatum Logistics Launches Dedicated Global Fairs and Events Logistics Business

AD Ports Group subsidiary Noatum Logistics has launched a dedicated global business line focused on fairs and events logistics. The new organisation operates with dedicated teams across key markets, including the United Arab Emirates and Greater China. It builds upon existing event logistics operations in the UAE, which have served major international exhibitions such as IDEX and NAVDEX.

Madrid-based Noatum Logistics, a provider of integrated logistics services owned by Abu Dhabi's AD Ports Group, has launched Fairs & Events Logistics as a dedicated global business unit, Exhibition News reported. The business operates with its own leadership team, product organisation, and commercial growth strategy.

According to the company, the business line is designed to integrate logistics directly into the planning and delivery of international exhibitions through tailored services and local execution. At launch, dedicated teams are based in the United Arab Emirates, Greater China, Germany, the United Kingdom, Benelux, and Iberia, supported by Noatum Logistics' broader network.

The initiative expands on the company's existing UAE-based event logistics operations, which have previously served as the preferred logistics partner for major international events, including the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and the Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX).

The organisation is led by an international management team including Lars Pohlmann as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Fairs & Events, Derek Cassidy as Vice President of Global Fairs & Events Product Management, Luke Wrigley as Head of Global Operational Process and Head of the UK, and Christine Pan as Head of Greater China.

Thorsten Meincke, Executive Vice President of Air & Ocean Freight at Noatum Logistics, stated that growing demand for cross-border exhibition execution led the group to combine specialised event expertise with its international freight network.
