Certifications

A certification is an add-on to your UECN membership. It confirms, at a stated date, that UECN has verified specific evidence about you or your organisation. It is earned by evidence, never bought: an active membership is required, and every check applies equally to every grade.

What it confirms. Identity, registration and compliance status are verified.

Who it is for. Individuals and companies doing UAE–China business.

How it is verified. Online identity verification, sanctions / PEP / adverse-media screening and an online Code of Conduct signature, plus: Chinese companies via the Qichacha lookup; UAE trade licences via issuer QR or a KYB provider; beneficial owners screened; two business referees; companies need 12 months of operating history.

What you submit.

  1. Individual: Proof of current role (employment letter or own company licence)
  2. Organisation: Trade licence or business registration
  3. 2 business referees (contact details)

How it works

  1. In the Membership Portal you see the certifications your grade allows, with your own price (or “Included”).
  2. If a fee applies, you pay first — checks start only after the payment is confirmed. Payment never changes a check result.
  3. You verify your identity online, upload at most three documents (PDF, JPG or PNG, 10 MB each), name your referees or clients and sign the Code of Conduct. You can save and resume.
  4. Automated checks take minutes to one business day; referees and clients have 14 days to confirm. Clean applications are issued automatically with a certificate, badge and public verification page.
  5. If a check fails you see which one and why, fix it and resubmit. If the application is finally rejected, the fee is refunded automatically, less any third-party verification cost shown before payment.
