Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has clarified that transit flight operations at Kuwait International Airport remain suspended until further notice, according to a report by Gulf News.

DGCA spokesman Abdullah Al Rajhi denied circulating reports indicating that the civil aviation authority had reached an agreement with Jazeera Airways or any other carrier to resume transit services.

Authorities have initiated regulatory action against Jazeera Airways after the carrier made transit bookings available without obtaining official authorization.

The DGCA stated that the suspension of airport transit has been maintained since the outbreak of regional hostilities to safeguard passengers and airport facilities. The authority reiterated that any future decision to lift transit restrictions will only be announced through official government channels.
