GCC tourism is experiencing a steady recovery driven by the return of business travel to the United Arab Emirates, according to market intelligence platform IndexBox.

Corporate travel, conferences, and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) events are leading the rebound across the region following conflict, restoring commercial confidence in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

IndexBox highlighted major gatherings such as the Arabian Travel Market as vital catalysts supporting executive travel and exhibition schedules in the UAE.

While corporate travellers and event participants have returned first, other segments including family and leisure tourism are projected to strengthen late in 2026 and continue into 2027.
