His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, issued Decree No. (24) of 2026 on September 30, 2026, reconstituting the Supreme Fiscal Committee in the Emirate of Dubai.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the committee is chaired by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh was designated as the Vice Chairman of the reconstituted committee.

The decree also appointed Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer and Essa Abdulfattah Kazim as members of the committee.

The decree took effect immediately from its date of issuance and is scheduled to be published in the Official Gazette.

Egypt to Introduce Stricter Visa and Entry Requirements for Uzbekistan Citizens

Egypt will implement new entry and visa regulations for Uzbek nationals starting November 1, 2026, according to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Cairo. The revised rules mandate advance visas from diplomatic missions, authorized tour bookings, minimum cash holdings, and age-based travel restrictions. Uzbek travelers under 40 will only be allowed entry if accompanied by immediate family.

UAE Ministry of Finance Updates E-Invoicing Service Provider Accreditation Rules

The UAE Ministry of Finance has issued Ministerial Decision No. 168 of 2026, updating accreditation procedures and eligibility criteria for electronic invoicing service providers. The decision took effect on October 1, 2026, repealing the previous 2025 decision and ending the pre-approval framework. Providers with preliminary approval have 30 days to meet the new direct accreditation standards.
