The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development has signed two memoranda of understanding with Peking University in China and Seoul National University in South Korea. The agreements establish a new series of Dubai Leadership Research aimed at MBA and executive education curricula. The signing took place during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum in Dubai.
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts has started issuing court documents linked to NFT-based credentials on the Avalanche C-Chain. The system enables banks, authorities, and counterparties worldwide to verify court orders and hearing records within seconds without storing confidential case data on-chain. The technical solution was developed by Deca4 Advisory and builds on the court's existing distributed ledger initiatives.
Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi called for concrete progress in cross-border banking cooperation between the GCC and China. The remarks were made during a Bangkok meeting between GCC central bank governors and People's Bank of China Governor Pan Gongsheng. UAE Presidential Special Envoy Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing to advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Concurrently, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed reported that non-oil trade between Dubai and China grew 172-fold over 35 years to AED 363.5 billion in 2025.
