According to WAM, Beijing-headquartered China Securities (CSC Financial) has obtained an operational licence from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) alongside regulatory authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). The move formally establishes the firm's regional business hub in the Middle East.
The new DIFC branch will focus on deploying investment banking, equity and debt capital markets, asset management, and institutional services. The expansion is designed to facilitate cross-border capital connectivity among clients, investors, and financial institutions across China, the UAE, and global markets.
In related China-UAE corporate developments reported by WAM, JD Properties & Development, a subsidiary of JD Group, signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi's KEZAD Group. Under the agreement, JD will construct advanced logistics facilities spanning approximately 150,000 square meters in KEZAD Zone A.
The KEZAD facility, scheduled for delivery in 2028, will incorporate automated warehousing, digital operations, and green building technologies. The project is expected to create approximately 1,000 direct jobs upon entering commercial operations.
