Beijing-headquartered investment bank China Securities has established a regional office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), according to reports published by Zawya and DIFC. The publicly listed securities firm secured an operating licence from the DIFC Authority and received regulatory authorisation from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

The Dubai office will provide China Securities with a strategic base to support engagement with clients, investors, and financial institutions across the Middle East. The firm operates across equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, asset management, and institutional services, aiming to bolster links between Chinese, UAE, and international capital markets.

China Securities becomes the latest Chinese financial institution to set up operations in the DIFC cluster. Other Chinese institutions operating in the centre include Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank, China International Capital Corporation Limited, China Merchants Bank International, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

According to DIFC, China's five largest banks collectively account for more than 30% of total assets within the financial centre's banking and capital markets sector.
