BI Group UAE, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan-based contractor BI Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CITIC Middle East Contracting, a UAE subsidiary of China's CITIC Construction Co.

The agreement establishes a framework for CITIC's proposed appointment as the main construction contractor for three real estate developments situated in Dubai's Meydan Horizon.

Under the partnership framework, CITIC will participate in early-stage design and planning processes, offering technical support, value engineering, cost optimization, and site coordination. Ruslan Yembergenov, CEO of BI Group UAE, stated that bringing in the Chinese contractor early enables the firm to leverage international technical expertise and make informed decisions prior to the start of construction.

According to the report, BI Group was founded in 1995 and has completed more than 250 projects across international markets, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
