BI Group has signed an agreement with Citic Middle East Contracting, the UAE subsidiary of China's Citic Construction Co, to collaborate on three upcoming real estate developments in Dubai.
The agreement establishes a framework for Citic's proposed appointment as the main construction contractor across all three projects. It extends the contractor's role beyond construction to include early-stage design and planning, value engineering, cost optimization, and construction coordination.
According to Ruslan Yembergenov, CEO of BI Group UAE, bringing Citic into the process during the design and planning phases enables the developer to leverage international technical expertise, make informed decisions early, and support efficient project delivery.
Citic Middle East Contracting operates as part of Citic Group, one of China's largest state-owned conglomerates. Its parent company's global portfolio includes Beijing National Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games as well as large-scale residential projects in Angola.
