Al Ain Farms Expands Camelait Camel Milk Brand into China and Europe

UAE beverage and protein producer Al Ain Farms Group has unveiled a refreshed identity for Camelait and announced international agreements to expand production and commercial operations into China and Europe. In China, the brand established partnerships with Zhejiang Hengsheng Holding for distribution and Suzhou Biology Healthy Technology Co., Ltd for local manufacturing. The company also formed an academic research tie-up with Khalifa University and is progressing European joint-venture plans with Belgium-based Eurofit.

UAE dairy and beverage producer Al Ain Farms Group unveiled a new identity for its camel milk brand Camelait during Global Food Week in Abu Dhabi, announcing international partnership agreements to expand production and sales into China and Europe, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported. The company stated that the agreements reflect an international expansion model focused on manufacturing closer to target consumers and developing products tailored for local consumption.

In China, Camelait is expanding operations through a distribution partnership with Zhejiang Hengsheng Holding, which serves as the brand's exclusive distributor, according to WAM. Suzhou Biology Healthy Technology Co., Ltd has been named as the local manufacturing partner, producing long-life camel milk formatted specifically for Chinese consumers. Zhejiang Hengsheng Holding CEO Zhiyang Ye noted that camel milk represents an emerging premium nutrition segment in China with growing consumer demand for verified provenance.

For its European expansion, Al Ain Farms Group is advancing plans with Belgium-based Eurofit to set up a joint venture in Abu Dhabi Global Market, subject to regulatory approvals. Germany is designated as the production hub for the European market, initially focusing on UHT camel milk packaged in glass bottles before adding other value-added dairy offerings.

Domestically, Al Ain Farms entered into a collaboration with Khalifa University and Khalifa University Enterprises Company to translate camel milk research into commercial applications and build industry talent. Group CEO Hassan Safi stated that the company's approach centers on local production and ground-level partnerships rather than standard exports, while UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi highlighted the strategy as an example of Emirati firms scaling global competitiveness through research and commercial collaboration.
