ADIPEC 2026 to feature record Asian presence led by Chinese energy companies

Organisers of ADIPEC 2026 confirmed on September 29, 2026, that the Abu Dhabi energy conference will host its largest-ever Asian contingent. The exhibition is set to include 353 Asian companies and six national pavilions, featuring participants from China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea.

Confirmed Chinese corporate participants include national energy majors Sinopec, CNPC, and CNOOC, alongside clean-tech and battery firms CATL and Envision Energy.

Hosted by ADNOC, the global energy event is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from November 2 to 5, 2026. The exhibition will convene over 2,250 exhibitors across 16 halls and host 1,800 speakers.

The source noted that the record Asian turnout reflects forecasts indicating that China alone will account for nearly half of global electricity demand growth through 2030.

DEIK Report: Chinese Exports to UAE Hit $72.9 Billion Amid Trade Shifts

A report by the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye shows Chinese exports to the UAE reached $72.9 billion in 2025 as trade routes shifted away from the US.
