Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) has announced the expansion of the fifth edition of Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), scheduled to take place from December 7 to 10, 2026. The event will introduce dedicated forums focusing on China, South Korea, the European Union, and the United States to boost bilateral commercial partnerships and cross-border capital investment between Abu Dhabi and major financial hubs.

Organized under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, ADFW 2026 will expand to 75 events across eight stages, compared to 60 events across six stages in 2025. Organizers confirmed that over 300 international leaders overseeing combined assets exceeding USD 61 trillion are scheduled to participate.

The 2026 edition will launch ten new platforms covering topics including artificial intelligence in finance, stablecoins, tokenization, hedge funds, real estate, and healthcare finance. Organizers have formed strategic partnerships with entities including the Arab Monetary Fund, the International Monetary Fund, Yicai, CNBC, UBS, Standard Chartered, and Binance. A Global Financial Regulators Summit will also convene regulators from over 50 jurisdictions.

ADGM Chairman Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi stated that the platform aims to connect investors, institutions, and policymakers amid changing global conditions. The four-day agenda will sequentially cover macroeconomics, asset management, digital assets and fintech, and sustainable finance. Separately, official statistics showed strong regional trade ties, with Saudi Arabia posting a $3.8 billion merchandise trade surplus in July, led by China and the UAE as top export destinations.
