Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Group has appointed Alex Krunic as chief capital markets officer, Securities Finance Times reported.
ADX stated that Krunic will support the exchange's market development agenda, expand its product and investment offerings, deepen engagement with global and regional institutions, and support its international positioning.
Krunic holds more than 25 years of international capital markets experience across trading, post-trade infrastructure, clearing, custody, and risk management. Most recently, he served as chief executive officer of Kuwait Clearing Company, where he was responsible for developing post-trade businesses in the Kuwait capital market. He previously held senior roles at LCH, J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, Societe Generale Securities Services, and Commercial Bank of Kuwait.
Speaking on his appointment, Krunic stated that he will work with the ADX team to sharpen market offerings, deepen institutional engagement, and strengthen market infrastructure to enhance connections with global investors and capital.
